Minimum requirements by aircraft and position.

Medevac First Officer

  • Commercial pilot license with multi IFR rating
  • Preferred Minimum Hours & Requirement
  • 1000 hours fixed wing flight time
  • 500 hours multi engine flight time
  • 250 hours mountain flying experience
  • Aviation diploma
  • Experience on multi-engine turbine aircraft
  • IATRA exams written (required for turbojet aircraft, preferred for turboprop)
  • Group 1 Pilot Medical assessment by a qualified Civil Aviation Medical Examiner as required by Transport Canada regulations.
  • Recommended Up to date vaccinations against diphtheria, poliomyelitis, tetanus and hepatitis B
  • No Transport Canada violations or suspensions
  • Ability to obtain TSA clearance and approval for simulator training in the United States
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated computer skills and familiarity with the Internet
  • Fluency or proficiency in English language skills

Medevac Captain

  • ATPL with multi IFR rating
  • Preferred – 3000 hours or more on fixed wing aircraft, with 1000 hours as PIC
  • Preferred – 1000 hours or more of multi engine flight time, with 500 hours as PIC
  • Preferred – 100 hours on type, with 50 hours as PIC
  • Preferred – 500 hours or more of mountain flying experience
  • Preferred –  Experience on specific aircraft type
  • Preferred – Aviation diploma
  • Group 1 Pilot Medical assessment by a qualified Civil Aviation Medical Examiner as required by Transport Canada regulations.
  • No Transport Canada violations or suspensions
  • Ability to obtain TSA clearance and approval for simulator training in the United States
