Career Opportunities
Air Ambulance
Our air ambulance pilots fly the latest King Air 350/360 medevac equipped aircraft to provide service to the communities and cities of British Columbia. Continual self-study along with full-motion flight simulator, on-wing, and classroom training prepare our crews sharp when handling time sensitive, critically ill patients in some of the most challenging flying in Canada.
Cargo
Flying Metro aircraft is a great way to build your flying skills and gain valuable experience in your career as a pilot. These turbine-powered, pressurized, high performance aircraft provide pilots with the skills of hand-flying, multi-engine, instrument weather, two crew and mountain experience! Pilots for over 20 years have been flying cargo for Carson Air as they progress in their careers!
Maintenance
Carson Air’s teams of maintenance engineers, apprentices, stores and parts staff, help support our fleet of medevac, cargo and flight school aircraft. They play a critical role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our aircraft. They have attention to detail, time management and are a team player with all the departments. We have a diverse fleet in a time sensitive environment!
Flight School
Our flight instructors teach the next generation of airline, commuter, medevac, and private pilots! Located in Kelowna, Southern Interior Flight Centre, a division of Carson Air, is a dynamic, growing aviation school known for excellence in service, education, safety, and much more, with a dedicated group of skilled aviation professionals. A fleet of Cessna 172s, a Beech Duchess, Piper Seneca V, and a number of simulators provide our instructors a great platform for teaching!
Administration & Accounting
Our administration and accounting department keep the company ticking! They require a diverse skill set to effectively manage operations and solve problems. They problem-solve, are adaptable and have ethical and professional standards. They operate business systems in a very dynamic and critical aviation environment.
